Documents required to get married in the Dominican Republic

  • Valid passport or Photo ID
  • Birth Certificate
  • Declaration of Marital Status (civil or single status) could be obtained in the Dominican Consulate close to your home, which must be translated into Spanish and legalized. Originals must be brought with you to the property.
  • Two witnesses with passport or photo ID, provided by the hotel if needed
  • Full name of both parents
  • Blood test and advanced travel are not required
